Callejón Hills – Tango Seminar
Callejón Hills is conceived as a geographical and sensory journey through tango. Through guided breathing, grounding techniques, and movement exploration, participants will be transported into a vivid landscape: a narrow alley filled with music, echoes, rhythm, dancers, and children.
Inspired by Natalia's childhood memories of growing up in the suburbs of Buenos Aires during the mid-1980s, the seminar recreates the atmosphere where tango was lived as part of everyday life. Rather than simply learning steps, participants are invited to experience tango as a living culture and a physical language.
More than a traditional class, Callejón Hills is a choreographic laboratory and a guided composition workshop. Dancers of all levels will explore how each tango style is danced, discovering the qualities, dynamics, and intentions behind the movement instead of merely reproducing figures.
